• Holy Trinity to host bazaar and market
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church will hold its annual bazaar and artisan market this Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, located at 193 Old Greenville Highway in Clemson, across from Clemson University.
The bazaar will feature beautifully handcrafted items made by talented artisans from around the Upstate and members of Holy Trinity. Examples include jewelry, gift baskets, soaps, quilts, woodworking, scarves, handbags, ornaments, and candles, American Girl doll clothes in sets, as well as homemade take-home frozen meals, baked and canned goods, and the best lunch in town. The event also will include a silent auction. All proceeds from the event, which dates back more than 50 years, will be shared among several charities. In recent years, funds have been donated to Clemson Community Care, Family Promise of Pickens County, Collins Children’s Home, Our Daily Rest, Safe Harbor, Habitat for Humanity of Anderson, Clemson Free Clinic and tuition grants for the Episcopal Day School.
More information can be found at holytrinitybazaar.org or by contacting the parish office at (864) 654-5071.
• Pickens Lions Club invites locals to meet
The Pickens Lions Club has been serving the greater Pickens community since 1933. While its membership numbers have flexed over the years, one constant has remained — the club’s desire to help friends and neighbors in need. The club is beginning a dynamic upswing in membership and is looking for movers and shakers with fresh ideas who want to make a difference in the community. The Pickens Lions meet the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. at Pizza Inn in Pickens. Visit the club on Facebook at PickensLions or call Brian at (864) 507-3146 to get more information.
• PHS Concert Chior to perform Bach

Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at pcpac.org.
• PMS wants to share the warmth
It’s that that time again — Winter Warmth 2018.
The event will again provide free winter clothes for everyone this year, including coats, jeans, sweaters, baby clothes, shoes and T-shirts in many sizes.
The event will be held this Saturday, Dec. 1, from 8-11 a.m. at the Pickens Recreation gym, located at 545 Sangamo Road in Pickens. The annual event, sponsored by churches of the Pickens Ministerial Association, has become a practical blessing for residents of Pickens. As the onset of winter is here, the PMA wants to share love and warmth again this season.
Donations and volunteers are welcome.
Contact one of the association churches — Amazing Grace Fellowship, Faith Lutheran Chapel, Grace United Methodist, Griffin Ebenezer Baptist, McKinney Chapel, Pickens View Wesleyan, Pickens Presbyterian or Pickens Seventh-day Adventist — to donate or volunteer.
