• Georges Creek to host VBS July 19-23

Georges Creek Baptist Church will hold its annual Vacation Bible School July 19-23. This year’s theme is “Journey Off the Map.” The VBS is for ages 2 years old through sixth grade and will run nightly from 6-8:30 p.m. Georges Creek Baptist Church is located at 1991 Saluda Dam Road in Easley. • Movies on the Market start Aug. 29

City of Easley and Gilstrap Family Dealerships will begin Movies on the Market on Saturday nights from August 29 to October 3.

The movies start around 8 p.m. and will be shown at the outdoor amphitheater located in Old Market Square, downtown Easley.

This fantastic family oriented movie series has become a fan favorite throughout Pickens County. Shown in the beautiful outdoor city amphitheater, this makes for a great family night, friend get together night and/or date night. • Steppin’ It Up plans meeting on July 13

Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County’s Steppin’ It Up Coalition will hold its next meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on July 13.

The meeting will be held at Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County, located at 303 E. Main Street in Pickens. Meetings are open to anyone interested in educating our youth on the dangers and health implications of alcohol, tobacco and drug exposure and use.

• 4-H20 planned at Lake Hartwell

4-H2O Camp-Exploring Lake Hartwell is a day camp offered for youth ages 9-13. Lake Hartwell and local streams serve as the setting for this nature resources program. The day camp will be held at the Clemson Outdoor Lab at 415 Charlie White Trail in Pendleton. Registration is $50 and includes program supplies, snack and daily lunch. Join 4-H for a cost of $10 (includes a 4-H t-shirt). Bring swimsuit, towel and sunscreen each day. Registration is limited. The camp will be held rain or shine, and the registration deadline is July 20.

• Missions Market set at Mt. Tabor Church

Mt. Tabor Baptist Church will host Missions Market from 7-11 a.m. on July 11.

Tables will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at $8 each. Refreshments will be available. All proceeds from table rental fees and refreshments will support a different mission each month. The sale will be cancelled in case of rain. Call Misty at (864) 314-6359 for more information. Mt.
