• Day family reunion planned for Sept. 15

The Day family reunion, including descendants of Bradwell Day and Elizabeth Cansler Day, is planned for Sept. 15 starting at 1 p.m. in the social hall of Georges Creek Baptist Church, located at 1991 Saluda Dam Road in Easley. Everyone is invited to attend the church service starting at 10:30 a.m. Visitors are asked to allow others to leave the parking lot by 12:30 p.m. before arriving for the reunion and bring a picnic lunch or covered dish to share and a drink. Plates, napkins, cups and eating utensils will be provided. Assistance will be available in filling out DAR membership papers.
