IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Pickens, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of South Carolina, intends to file a Petition pursuant to S.C. Code Section 57-9-10, et. seq., for abandonment of a portion of Dean Street, a roadway owned and maintained by the City of Pickens. The portion of Dean Street to be abandoned is identified as 6,932 sq. ft. of a 50 foot wide right of way. Said area is 0.16 acres and bordered on the northeast by property owned by Ace Sales Consultations, Inc. identified by Tax Map Parcel No. 4180-00-49-5522; and bordered on the northwest by property owned by Richard Tillies and Joanna Tillies identified by Tax Map Parcel No.: 4180-00-45-5654; and, bordered on the southeast by property owned by Lisa Neel and John Neel identified by Tax Map Parcel No. 4180-00-49-7501.

This is to inform the public of opportunity to attend a public hearing on the proposed SFY 2021-2022 Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program Application to be submitted to the Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Study no later than Monday, January 31, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
Those interested in attending a public hearing on this application should contact Teresa Martin, EVP in writing on or before January 28, 2020. The public hearing will be held on January 31, 2020 before SENIOR Solutions. The contact address is 3420 Clemson Blvd. Anderson, SC 29621.
The Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program provides capital assistance for transportation options and services for the communities operating in Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Services. These services are currently provided using ADA Vehicles. Services are rendered by SENIOR Solutions.

This Notice of Adoption Proceedings is given pursuant to S.C. Code Section 63-9-730(E):
(1) within thirty days of receiving notice the person or agency shall respond in writing by filing with the court in which the adoption is pending notice and reasons to contest, intervene, or otherwise respond;
(2) the court must be informed of the person’s or agency’s current address and of any changes in address during the adoption proceedings; and
(3) failure to file a response within thirty days of receiving notice constitutes consent to adoption of the child and forfeiture of all rights and obligations of the person or agency with respect to the child.
