PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, you are hereby notified that a FINAL HEARING has been scheduled for MARCH 22, 2021 AT 11:00 AM FOR 15 minutes before the Honorable Judge Karen Roper.

has commenced an action in this Court against the above-named Defendants to quiet tax title to the following described Real Property and any improvements thereto including a purged Mobile Home:

BEGINNING at a nail and cap in SC Highway No. 133 common corner with tract number three; thence along center of said highway N12·25W 322.88 feet to point over Mile Creek; thence along Mile Creek, center thereof being the line of traverse N80·44E 391.38 feet; thence leaving creek and running S23·16E 439.55 feet to point in old road; thence along center of old road S23·16E 59.45 feet to point in old road; which point is common of tract numbers four and five and is on line of tract number three; thence along common line with tract number three N81 ·31W 518.07 feet to point of BEGINNING; and being bounded on the north and northeast by property now or formerly of American Leprosy Missions, Inc., center of Mile Creek being the line of the northern side; bounded on the southeast center of old road; bounded in the south by tract number 3 and bounded on the west by center of SC Highway 133.

This being the same property conveyed to Mountain Holdings, LLC by deed of Ralph Guarino, Jr., the Pickens County Delinquent Tax Collector, dated December 16, 2019 and filed in the Pickens County Register of Deeds on December 23, 2019 at Deed Book 2121, Page 272. Subsequently, a Corrective Tax Deed to correct the legal description was filed by Ralph Guarino, Jr., the Pickens County Delinquent Tax Collector, dated January 5, 2020 and filed in the Pickens County Register of Deeds on February 6, 2020 at Deed Book 2133, Page 84. Thereafter, Mountain Holdings, LLC quit claimed its interest in the property to Corvus, LLC by Deed filed December 1, 2020 in the Pickens County Register of Deeds at Deed Book 2218, Page 30.

LEGAL NOTICE

The Pickens County Planning Commission will meet in regular session and conduct public hearings on Monday, March 8, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Conference Room at the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, SC.

Prior to the regular meeting and public hearings, the Planning Commission will meet in a worksession at 6:00 p.m. in the same location.

In order to follow current CDC social distancing guidelines, seating in the Main Conference Room will be limited.

The Planning Commission will hold public hearings on the following items:
