NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Pickens County Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, SC, in the Main Conference Room.
Prior to the public hearing, the Board of Appeals will meet in a worksession at 6:15 p.m. in the same location.
The following case will be heard:
1. BOA-20-0003 Request for a special exception variance from the county minimum side yard setbacks. Property is located at 243 Rockcrest Ridge Road, Cleveland, SC. The applicants and property owners of record are Joseph and Judith Wheeler.

Crown Castle is proposing to install a 265 foot self-support telecommunications tower at the following site: along the south side of Boggs Road, Central, Pickens County, SC 29630, N 34 44 18.57, W 82 44 16.94. The proposed lighting on the tower is medium intensity dual red and white lights. Crown Castle invites comments from any interested party on the impact of the proposed action on any districts, sites, buildings, structures or objects significant in American history, archaeology, engineering or culture that are listed or determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places and/or specific reason the proposed action may have a significant impact on the quality of the human environment.
