NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council of Pickens County, South Carolina (the “County Council”), the governing body of Pickens County, South Carolina (the “County”) will conduct a public hearing on the proposed enactment of an ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 14 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCE OF PICKENS COUNTY, THE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS ORDINANCE, TO COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO” (the “Ordinance”). Subject to the normal rules of County Council regarding appearances, members of the public are invited to attend and make comment concerning the Ordinance. Such requests should be received by the Clerk to Council on or before the meeting date. The public hearing will be held on December 4, 2017 at 6:30 p.m., in the County Council chambers, which are located at Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, South Carolina 29671.
