By virtue of an Order by the Probate Court for Pickens County, South Carolina, granted in the case of Robinson Funeral Home vs. Rebecca Sargent, individually as Personal Representative for the Estate of Myrtle C. Hester, et al., the Clerk of Court for Pickens County will sell on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 o’clock a.m. at the Pickens County Courthouse, Pickens, South Carolina, to the highest bidder, decedent’s interest in the following described property, to-wit:
IT IS ORDERED that the following property be sold:
“ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate, lying and being in the Woodside Mills Village Plant No. 2, in the Town of Liberty, Pickens County, South Carolina, and being more particularly described as Lot 18 as shown on plat entitled “A Subdivision of Woodside Mills, Liberty Plant No. 2, Liberty, S.C.” made by Piedmont Engineering Service, Greenville, SC, December 1951, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, SC in Plat Book 1920 at Page 138.”
This is the identical property conveyed to Robert E. Hester and Myrtle Hester by deed of John S. Smith and Jean R. Smith dated and recorded May 21, 1999, in Deed Book 484 at Page 243 in the Pickens County Register of Deeds. See also Deed of Distribution executed by the Estate of Robert E. Hester, Sr. and recorded in Deed Book 1584 at Page 292. See also Estate of Myrtle C. Hester, case number 2013-ES-39-00701.

TERMS OF SALE: CASH to the highest bidder, other than Petitioner, with 5% of the successful bid due in cash or certified check as a deposit at the conclusion of the sale. The successful bidder shall comply with his bid within twenty (20) days after the sale or the deposit shall be forfeited, applied to costs first and Petitioner’s attorney fee next, and the property shall be resold at a subsequent Sales Day at the risk of the defaulting bidder. The Purchaser shall pay any current or delinquent property taxes thereon and the cost of the deed, stamps and recording.
If Petitioner or its representative does not appear at the Sale, then the sale shall be postponed. The foreclosure deed is not a warranty deed. Neither Petitioner nor its attorney make any representations to third parties as to the status of the title to the property. Prospective purchasers should consult an attorney and examine the title to the property being sold.
