CENTRAL — Daniel High School announced recently it’s extending the deadline for applications for its inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class.

The deadline has now been extended through March 31.

The selections are still planned to be made by a committee in April, and the induction ceremony will be held at a yet-to-be determined home football game this fall.

To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, athletes must have been out of high school for at least 10 years. Coaches and administrators, meanwhile, are eligible five years after retirement or leaving Daniel. Contributors and boosters are eligible at any time.

Nomination forms can be found at www.danielsports.org, or at the front office of the school, which is located at 140 Blue and Gold Blvd. in Central.
