DACUSVILLE — The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and the Dacusville Business Association will host a meeting of the Dacusville-Area Crime Watch for volunteer training and to setup the group’s ongoing meeting schedule and leadership team on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m.
More than 200 residents have signed up to participate in the Dacusville-Area Crime Watch as both members and area captains.
The purpose of the meeting is to train all volunteers and participants, finalize area captain assignments and kick off regular member meetings under the guidance of a Dacusville-Area Crime Watch leadership team.
Anyone interested in supporting the crime watch, serving as an area captain or helping to organize and lead the crime watch is encouraged to attend.
The sheriff’s office will lead the training effort, and the Dacusville Business Association will coordinate and host the meeting as a substitute for its late fall meeting.
