CENTRAL — With its first region title in a decade in tow, the Daniel High School volleyball team looked to keep its momentum going in the first round of the playoffs last Wednesday against Fountain Inn.

The Lions did just that, overpowering the Fury in three straight sets, winning 3-0 by scores of 25-8, 25-12 and 25-12 to advance to the second round.
