CENTRAL — With one week left in the regular season,  the Daniel Lions continue to sit at the top of the South Carolina Class 3A football mountain coming out of their open date due to some standout performances over the course of the season.

The key to Daniel’s string of successes — the Lions are riding an 18-game winning streak — has been senior quarterback Trent Pearman, and he continues to impress after his breakout junior season.

In just eight games in 2021, Pearman has thrown for 2,027 yards and 26 touchdowns
