In a ceremony at the Pickens District BSA annual awards banquet, Bryan Dickard, left, was presented with the Silver Beaver award from the Blue Ridge Council. It is the highest award that can be given to an adult volunteer on the council level. Presenting the Silver Beaver was Mac Maclean, president of the Blue Ridge Council BSA, which covers nine counties in the Upstate of South Carolina.
