EASLEY — An 81-year-old Easley man died after a three-vehicle collision on Saturday evening.

According to Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley, Robert Bowens, of 300 North 4th St., was pronounced dead at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Kelley said Bowens was a passenger in one of the three vehicles involved in the accident, which happened around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 123 near Easley.

The accident is being investigated by the Easley Police Department, Kelley said.
