Holy Trinity Episcopal in Clemson to host Bazaar and Artisan Market

CLEMSON — For more years than anyone can remember, the women of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson have sponsored an annual bazaar on the first Saturday of December to raise funds for community charities.

Proceeds have been used to support groups like Clemson Community Care, Our Daily Bread of Seneca, The Salvation Army (Oconee and Pickens), and Helping Hands of Clemson.

Scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in the church fellowship hall located at 193 Old Greenville Highway across from the university in Clemson, the annual event will feature handcrafted and homemade goods made by church members, as well as the work of nearly 30 local artisans.

“Last year was the first time we expanded the event to include the work of local artisans,” said Kathy Crouse, event chairperson and long-time parish member. “It was a huge success and a win-win for everyone involved — our church, local artists, the community, and the charities that benefit from the funds we raise at the event.”

According to Crouse, more than 35 local artisans will participate in this year’s event.

All proceeds raised from the sale of the items made by the church members will be donated to local charities, along with the booth rental fee paid by local artisans. Lunch will be available for a modest fee.
