New historical marker unveiled

PICKENS — A crowd gathered last week for the unveiling of the latest addition to the Pickens County Museum of Art and History.

The Pickens County gaol was built in 1902 and operated for more than half a century before becoming home of the Pickens County Museum of Art and History in 1976.
