Late field goal clinches Pickens’ first win over Easley in a decade

PICKENS — On a night where it seemed like the Pickens Blue Flame and the Easley Green Wave were never going to stop trading punches, the Blue Flame came out victorious against all odds.
Everyone left their hearts on the field, and Pickens kicker Zander Gravely kicked his way into Blue Flame lore, booting a game-winning 20-yard field goal with only 1:43 left to play.
The Pickens victory broke a nine-year losing streak to the rival Green Wave.
