Lions bounce back in second half to top Easley in opener

CENTRAL — The top ranked Daniel Lions were outplayed by the Easley Green Wave throughout the first half of the teams’ season-opener on Friday night and needed a last-second score to even make it a 14-14 tie going into the locker room.
According to defensive end Jahiem Lawson, the Daniel coaching staff stressed at halftime that the Lions needed to relax.
