Lions crush Easley for 13th straight regular season win

EASLEY — Coming off a season-defining win against defending Class 4A state champion Wren the previous week, the third-ranked Daniel High School football team had won 12 straight regular-season games heading into Friday night’s non-region contest at county foe Easley.
After a dominant first half in which the Lions outgained Easley 325-77, there was no doubt about a 13th straight, as Daniel cruised to a 48-14 win over the Green Wave.
Without starting quarterback Jackson Crosby for the second week in a row, the Lions (4-0) didn’t miss a beat offensively, with Trent Pearman leading the way once again.
