COUNTY — As the district continues to see high numbers of COVID-19 cases among staff members and students, masks are now required on all Pickens County school buses after a mandate from the S.C. Department of Education.

The department said on Thursday that more protective measures were necessary with the onset of COVID-19’s delta variant and the high number of cases in schools.
