Pickens council member resigns
Filing opens next week for county municipal elections
PICKENS — Pickens City Councilman Patrick Lark has resigned.
Lark was first elected in 2010.
Lark announced his resignation in a letter to the mayor, other council members and the citizens of Pickens dated July 4.

School board partially lifts ban on book
