Penalties, injuries cost Easley in loss to Yellow Jackets

EASLEY — Playing and beating fourth-ranked Class 5A power T.L. Hanna Friday night was going to take an almost perfect game from the Easley Green Wave.
Unfortunately for Easley, it was anything but perfect, as early penalties and injuries stymied the Green Wave in a 62-14 loss.
There was a moment of silence before the game in memory of former Easley coach and mayor Larry Bagwell, who passed away earlier in the day.
