PICKENS — The Pickens High School athletic department is currently taking application for the upcoming Pickens High School Athletic Hall of Fame class.

To nominate a person for the prestigious honor, those interested should submit the nominee’s name, years they were at Pickens High School, their sports and awards, post-high school contributions to the school and copies of news articles or awards.

All nominations must be in by 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14. Nominations will be taken at the school or mailed to Pickens athletic director Chad Smith at 4314 Moorefield Memorial Highway, Pickens SC 29671. Those chosen will be announced and honored at a Pickens High School Blue Flame home football game during the upcoming season.
