Pickens coach says Blue Flame ‘a difficult team to contend with’

PICKENS — The Pickens Blue Flame have the first five games of the 2018 season in the books and despite some tough losses, PHS head coach and athletic director Chad Smith believes his team is ready to make a run in Region I-4A.
Smith says his kids are ready to start the tough road ahead.
“Our kids are getting better every week,” he said. “If we continue to improve and erase mistakes in critical situations, then we will be a difficult team to contend with going forward.”
