The Pickens Recreation Department 14U volleyball all-star team won the SCAP state championship on Saturday, Nov. 23, in Simpsonville. The girls blew through the competition, defeating Jasper County and Simpsonville to win the state title. “These girls worked extremely hard and were very supportive of each other. They were a pleasure to coach,” head coach JoAnna Kindhart said.
