Pickens keeps growing
The city of Pickens continues to grow, as two new businesses held formal grand openings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies last week. On Friday, Fallon Brucke of The Fit Factory celebrated five years on Pickens’ Main Street and opened a new shop called West of Main. Both businesses are located at 126 W. Main St. In attendance were, pictured above, Lisa Turnick, Donna Owen, Stefan Dann, Jackie Savino, Leah Ellenburg, Chasity Mauldin, Jenifer Mitchell, Brucke, Rita Watts and Fit Factory members. On Saturday, Marion Garvin opened Busy Beez Flower Company at 113A W. Main St. Pickens’ newest flower shop will offer fresh and silk flowers, floral gift baskets and plants and casket sprays, as well a huge selection of wedding flowers and much more.
