The Pickens Recreation Department held its 2017 cheer camp on Saturday, July 29. According to organizers, 41 cheerleaders and their coaches  participated. Foothills Gymnastics and Cheer Center from Easley conducted this year’s camp. Kaitlyn James, right, was awarded The Most Spirit Award, chosen by the instructors from Foothills.
