PICKENS — The Pickens Service Club, previously the Pickens Sertoma Club, recently named new officers for the coming year — President Terry Houston, Vice President Adam Lambert, Treasurer John Sparks and Secretary Ben Mann.

The Pickens Service Club is a group of local men who work together to support and contribute financially to worthy local needs. For many years, the group has paid to send two Pickens County youth to Camp Sertoma at Clemson. This year it was two young men from Helping Hands.

In the past year, contributions were made to the Cannon Memorial Hospital
