PICKENS — With football season nearing its end, Pickens County has seen an accomplishment it has never seen before from Bennett Wimpey.

Wimpey, a seventh-grader from Pickens, was invited to be on Team South Carolina for Football University (FBU) . FBU is considered a leader in developing and enhancing the ability and skill of serious football players in middle school and high school since 2007.
