PICKENS — The Pickens Ministerial Association will sponsor the Community Lenten Luncheon series. Traditionally, Lent is a time for penance by all Christians lasting 40 days (not including Sundays) and beginning with Ash Wednesday.

It is a time for Christians to confront their own mortality and confess their sins before God within the community of faith.
