Senior center gets grant
The Senior Citizens of Pickens officially received a $48,997 grant from the Lt. Governor’s Office on Aging in a special ceremony held at the Hagood Senior Center in Pickens on Tuesday. The grant, along with a mandatory match, will go toward providing new windows and vinyl siding on the facility.
