PICKENS — The Pickens Senior Center is hosting a barbecue and bluegrass fundraiser at 129 Schoolhouse Road in Pickens.

[cointent_lockedcontent]The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase in advance for only $8 at the center on Aug. 6-7 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If purchased at the door, the cost will be $10. Ticket price includes BBQ sandwich plate with beans, slaw and a drink. Desserts will be available for purchase for only $1.
