Six Mile Elementary opens new wing
On July 30, Six Mile Elementary held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new addition. Construction on the new wing began in 2023 and adds 15,000 sqaure feet of space to house preschool classes at the school. This new wing is open and began serving students when the School District of Pickens County opened its school year on Aug. 1.
