Small business symposium set
PICKENS — Pickens County Council, Alliance Pickens and area chambers of commerce will hold a joint small business symposium from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Tri-County Technical College Easley Campus.
The free event will include breakfast and information related to the following topics: Navigating Through Healthcare Changes by Ogletree Deakins Law Firm, Marketing Your Business Effectively — The Cheapest Way Possible by Jackson Marketing and Financing for Small Business by a panel of local bankers and lending specialists. The symposium is open to all owners and managers of Pickens County businesses with 100 or less employees.
“Small businesses are key elements within our Pickens County communities,” said Chap Hurst, Pickens County Administrator. “We deeply appreciate their contributions to economic development within the county and we hope the owners and managers take advantage of the information that will be presented.”
The event is an ongoing series to assist and promote small businesses within Pickens County.
