Liberty Mayor Eric Boughman gets flooded with water from a city fire truck as part of The Liberty City Council’s Cold Water Challenge fundraiser for the charity EMMA K.A.P.P., which was named after his daughter who was killed in an accident. The charity plans to purchase safety helmets for all first-graders at Chastain Road Elementary in Liberty. Boughman and members of city council were sprayed with water after Monday night’s meeting of Liberty City Council at the Rosewood Center in Liberty. Boughman challenged other city departments to join in the fundraising in the coming weeks.
