PICKENS — Police investigated a threat found in a bathroom at Pickens Middle School last week.

According to a message principal James King sent to parents Sept. 24, staff discovered the threat written on the wall of a girls’ bathroom.

“Specifically, the writing said ‘there will be a bomb on Wednesday,’” King said.
