PICKENS — Two Walhalla residents died at the scene of a two-car collision near Pickens on Saturday night.

Pickens County deputy coroner Gary Duncan identified the victims as Deborah Lynn Baynard, 39, of 1630 Pickens Highway and Randall Joey Luker, 58, also of Walhalla.

The collision occurred at 10:04 p.m. Saturday on Shady Grove Road, near Red Hill Road, according to Cpl. Bill Rhyne of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Baynard and Luker were both passengers in a 1994 Ford Explorer
