The S.C. DNR Youth Target Sports program just finished its last shooting competition for this season, and three high school freshman from the area placed in every category — trap, skeet and sporting clays. Gabe Boggs, Eric Brown and Jake Wolfe, pictured above, are one of the teams on Clemson’s 4-H shooting team. The three young men have only known each other for a few years, but have become an awesome team. Even though they attend separate high schools, they have also become great friends through their shooting and Clemson 4-H. In February, the team won third place in the trap division and then first place in the skeet division. They reecntly won third place for the sporting clay division. The tournament was a record-breaking event, with more then 600 competitors.
